SDCC 2017

i'll FINALLY be attending my first san diego comic-con this year. woo. hoo.

i won't have a booth, but i will be doing a bunch of signings, panels and print releases as well as haranguing my artist friends and scouring the show floor for good deals import star wars figures.

MYSTERY TUBE SALE

after 7 years of creating screenprinted posters, i'm finally doing my first mystery tube sale. huzzah!

THE OFFER:

$50 (+ shipping) gets you THREE 18x24 screenprinted posters + a bonus miniprint

THE NITTY GRITTY:

• there is at least one of every poster from the header image available.

• there are more posters available than what is pictured in the header image.

• a few 12x36 posters will be sprinkled in the pool.

• see below for a sample of the bonus miniprints. some are screenprinted handbills, some are digital handbills, some are 11x14 digitally printed miniposters.

• i'm trying to keep this REALLY fair. i've created a ranking system that should help ensure all tubes are equally weighted.

• no requests for specific screenprints or miniprints will be honored.

• no, there will not be any steamboat willie or monsters inc. posters offered.

ROGUE ONE : REGAL IMAX COLLECTIBLE TICKETS

like so many other people around the world, star wars played a major part in my childhood. the stories from that galaxy far, far away supercharged my adolescent imagination, inspired my creativity and helped me bond with family members and friends.

with that in mind, you can imagine my utter glee as i read the email that i received from slidestar gallery a few months ago asking me to partner with them to create official artwork in support of the newest star wars movie, "rogue one". with my enthusiasm for the film already at a fever pitch, i had to take a few breaths before replying with an emphatic "yes."

my assignment was to create a series of three interlocking, collectible tickets that would be given out at regal IMAX screenings of the film. pinched on time and not willing to let this opportunity pass by, i completed a concept sketch (see below) while traveling. i chose to focus each individual ticket on an imperial trooper, with the newly-introduced hovertank driver and death trooper joining the classic stromtrooper to round out the trilogy of images.

now that advance tickets for "rogue one" are on sale (i just got mine!), i'm excited to finally be able to share this project. it is completely surreal and rewarding to be able to create a tiny piece of that galaxy far, far away that means so much to me.

i'll be releasing a slew of new artist proofs, including my '66 batmobile, wall•e, inside out, sinister six, TMNT, batman v. superman, judge dredd and twilight zone posters.

additionally, i will be offering a new batch of my marvel pins, including the SDCC x-men wave, hulk, and first appearance wolverine.

all domestic orders placed by december 2 will be shipped in plenty of time for holiday gift-giving.

NYCC 2016

new york comic con 2016 is upon us!

starting this thursday, i'll be in booth #116 in "the block" section of the con alongside friend/enemy dave perillo.

i'll be bringing a huge selection of stuff including:

• out-of-print disney screenprints (small quantities)
• info•rama APs (sinister six, batmobile, TMNT)
• marvel enamel pins
• entire "bust'd" 8"x8" catalog
• 8"x8" transformers print sets
• "enterprise spec sheet" screenprints
• "aliens" screenprints
• "twilight zone" single episode APs
• "judge dredd" APs
• and LOTS more!

to add to the madness, spoke art (booth #416) will be releasing the variant colorway of my "extraordinary beasts of the natural world". this is the first print from SUPER SCIENCE FAIR, the new two-man show dave perillo and i have cooked up and it's limited to an edition of 20. 

i'll also have an exclusive south park print releasing through bottleneck gallery (booth #2171). there will be a regular edition of 300 as well as a "kenny's dead" edition of 150.

finally, please feel free to bring any of my previous work (posters, comics, gift cards, whatever) to the booth to get signed. i'm happy to oblige.
